Koh Phi Phi, white sand :)

We are getting close to the end of our adventure so we decided to spend a few days chilling on a tropical beach island. We headed down to Koh Phi Phi in search of rest, sun and a lovely beach. Koh Phi Phi is a fantastic little tropical paradise and we had a lovely place to stay but being rainy season we also got a fair amount of clouds and afternoon rainstorms. We woke up early for the sunrise and got this lovely pre-dawn beach shot.

Michelle has adapted to the ambient temperature.
When it drops below 27 degrees she gets out a hoodie.
English summer may be a problem.

Sadly the clouds were too heavy to get any good sunrise photos but we weren't all by ourselves on the beach we had this little crab neighbour.

Reassuring they have a tsunami evacuation route,
makes a difference to the normal fire exit sign.

In the day the weather improved and we went back to the beach to chill in some deck chairs, do a bit of reading and relaxing :D

Michelle reverted to 15 and had a Smirnoff Ice

Off the beach we did a little bit of snorkelling and found some great fish just meters from the shore.

The resort had a great little pool that was actually colder then the sea. So we dipped in their for a bit and generally relaxed on a beach.

Only a few days until we head home.
