Massive Waterfall near Siem Reap

These are our pictures from our trip to the waterfall at Phnom Kulen . It was good long drive (nearly 2 hours) from Siem Reap but we thought it was defiantly worth it. It was fantastic to see such a big waterfall in such a flat country. We also got to swim in the plunge pool at the bottom which was deliciously cool on the hot humid day. But the water was full of fish that bite you. Tacking off dead skin like the ones in tanks for your feet. These ones are bigger more vicious and will bite anything they think might come off. Gareth had an unfortunate incident involving a fish and a nipple, but no permanent damage was done. Michelle was clever and just kept swimming, avoiding being bitten.

The Water Fall

Michelle under the full force of the water, it was powerful!
Then some monks turned up for a swim

It was a very good day

  2. Hey Mum and Dad

They didn't swarm when you got in, they snuck up in ones and twos when you least expected it. It did help with some dry/dead skin and its not sore. Apart from when fish bite at my insect bites that stung a bit.
